Several jewelry items, including a $38,000 diamond ring, were stolen earlier this week from a residence in northeast Arkansas, according to police.
A 47-year-old homeowner told authorities at 7:07 p.m. Tuesday that the items, which totaled around $42,000 in value, were taken from her home in the 3700 block of Pebble Beach Drive in Jonesboro between 7:30 a.m. and 4:15 p.m. Monday.
Other items stolen from the residence were two rose-gold diamond bands valued at $2,000, a $1,200 three-diamond pendant necklace, a gold Luminex watch valued at $600, a $150 L.L. Bean watch and miscellaneous costume jewelry valued at $200, according to a report. A $20 turquoise jewelry box was also reported taken.
No signs of forced entry were found at the house, the resident told police, adding that construction workers laying tile were the only people with a garage door code to access to the property.
Police said one person had been arrested as of Wednesday. Three individuals were named as suspects in the report.
