Couple stole jewelry from donation bins - NY Daily News - New York Daily News
A New Jersey couple is accused of stealing valuables from a military donation bin and pawning the stolen items, police said.
James Osbourn, 29, and his wife Jessica, 27, both of Tuckahoe, Cape May County, allegedly stole jewelry pieces worth more than $2,000, according to a statement by N.J. State Police.
The husband and wife are charged with theft and theft-related offenses.

(Police Handout)James Osbourn is believed to have sold the jewelry to a pawn shop for about $1,250.
Authorities believe that it is possible that not all of the jewelry was placed in a bag and donated, which is what James Osbourn claims.

(Police Handout)“We all know that jewelry is sentimental, and these particular pieces seem to fit that description,” police said in the statement.
Police are seeking the owners of the recovered jewelry. One piece has “Marie and Tom 6-3-57” engraved on it. Another reads “4-15-67.”
