Edina jewelry store hit by smash-and-grab robbery - KMSP-TV

- Edina police are looking for four men who went into an Edina jewelry store shortly after it opened and got away with an unknown amount of items.

The incident happened around 10:25 a.m. at R.F. Moeller Jeweler on the 5000 block of France Avenue. Police say the four men went in with hammers and started smashing the jewelry cases.

The suspects may have been in a stolen blue mini-van. Police say they found an abandoned van on a neighborhood street that may have been doused in gasoline.

Fox 9 has a crew on scene and will update this story with the latest information.

R.F. Moeller's in St. Paul was hit by smash and grab robbers back in November of 2014, four suspects went in and smashed display cases with hammers and got away with $300,000 worth of Rolex watches.
