Suspect who allegedly swiped $3 million in jewelry from Drake's tour bus during concert arrested - Daily Mail

A 21-year-old arena worker who allegedly made off with $3million worth of jewelry from rapper Drake's tour bus has been arrested.

Travion King, a transient who has been known to work occasional jobs for Talking Stick Resort Arena, in Phoenix, Arizona, was taken into custody on Wednesday.

Police say King found his way into Drake's tour bus on Tuesday as he performed at the arena before taking jewels belonging to DJ Future The Prince, who is on tour with the Hotline Bling singer and sharing the bus.

Travion King, 21 (left), has been arrested after police say he stole $3million of jewelry from rapper Drake's tour bus during a stop in Phoenix, Arizona, on Tuesday

Cops identified King from surveillance footage taken from the scene, but when they went to arrest him they found he was already in custody for trespassing at Arizona State University.

After speaking with King the jewels were recovered and handed back to Drake and DJ Future The Prince in one piece.

It is not known whether King was working for the arena at the time of his alleged heist, or if he simply used his insider knowledge in order to access the bus.

Officers say that King snuck on board the bus during a 15-minute window where security was lax before making off with the bling, hidden inside a suitcase.

Drake reportedly blew up at security after discovering the jewelry was gone, TMZ reported Wednesday.

The alleged criminal snuck onto a bus shared by the musicians, and made off with a suitcase full of expensive jewelry while Drake was onstage.

The theft comes as Us Weekly reports Drake and pop star Rihanna, who have been dating on and off for years, made their relationship official.

'They’re together and he loves her,' a source told the magazine on Wednesday.

The duo are taking things to the next level after Drake gave a gushing speech while presenting the 28-year-old pop star with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at the MTV VMAs on August 28.

'She's someone I’ve been in love with since I was 22 years old,' he told the crowd, prompting RiRi to roll her eyes.

Drake also hired out a Billboard in LA to congratulate Rihanna on her VMA honor.

Last week, Rihanna got a shark tattoo that appeared to be a reference to a date the duo took at an aquarium, where Drake gave her a stuffed shark toy.
