Men use hammers to smash display cases at Boca Raton jewelry... - Local 10
BOCA RATON, Fla. - Police are trying to identify two men who wore motorcycle helmets as they used hammers to smash their way into the display cases inside a Boca Raton jewelry store.
The smash-and-grab robbery was reported about 8:45 p.m. at Jared the Galleria of Jewelry.
Employees told police that they were preparing to close for the evening when the men came inside, ordered them to get on the floor and began smashing jewelry cases with hammers.
The crooks ran out of the store with various items of jewelry.
No injuries were reported.
