Dramatic video shows violent jewelry store robbery - New York Post
This is the brazen two-man robbery crew that ripped off $300,000 worth of watches from a Manhattan jewelry store, police said.
Dramatic surveillance footage cops released early Tuesday shows the pair walking into Jaeger-LeCoultre on Madison Avenue, as one threaten employees with a pistol.
His partner then shatters two of the shop’s glass display cases with a hammer to get at the high-end watches, the footage shows.
The robbers stole a total of five timepieces — including one from right off a man inside the store, sources said.
The man who allegedly threatened the workers at gunpoint is about 6-foot-4 and 240 pounds with a light complexion, cops said. At the time of the robbery, he wore a black winter coat, black dress pants, a baseball cap and sunglasses.
The other suspect, who cops say smashed the display cases, is about 6-foot-2 and 190 pounds, also with a light complexion. He wore a gray winter coat, a multi-colored ski cap, black pants, black Nike boots and black sunglasses.
