Illinois Valley Community College’s Continuing Education Office is offering two jewelry classes in December.
In “Framed Vintage Jewelry Tree” (HLR-2774-312), meeting from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday, Dec. 5, students will use vintage or re-purposed jewelry to create a framed jewelry tree for the holidays, according to a press release from the college.
Each student should bring 10 to 12 brooches and beads, pearls, buttons, sequins or rhinestones from old or broken jewelry to complete their project. A $20 material fee is payable to the instructor the night of class.
