'Lil John' Rinaldi closing jewelry store in Solon - cleveland.com

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- John Rinaldi, better known as Lil' John to local TV viewers, is closing his jewelry store in Solon.

"After 50 years in the jewelry business, I decided to retire," Rinaldi said in a YouTube video.

Rinaldi Jewelry, located at 6130 Kruse Drive, expects to close its doors for good by February. In the meantime, the store is holding a going out of business sale with 20 to 70 percent off merchandise.

Rinaldi operated the business with his wife, Sherry, when he wasn't performing with Chuck Schodowski on the long-running "Big Chuck and Lil' John Show" on WJW TV. The couple operated a storefront on E. 9th Street in downtown Cleveland for more than 20 years before moving to the suburbs in 2004.
