BPD searching for jewelry store thieves | Breaking | bakersfield.com - The Bakersfield Californian
The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the public's help identifying and locating two suspects wanted for grand theft and conspiracy.
On Aug. 15 at 4:22 p.m., two suspects entered Helzberg Diamonds in the Valley Plaza, according to a police news release. The first suspect distracted the employee while the second removed a piece of jewelry from the display case. Both suspects exited the business with the loss and are described as:
Suspect 1: Hispanic male, 35- 40-year-old, 5 feet, 7 inches to 5 feet, 8 inches, with a stocky build, wearing a black and white baseball hat, dark colored polo shirt and white shorts.
Suspect 2: Hispanic male, 40-50, 5 feet, 7 inches to 5 feet, 8 inches, with short black hair, a stocky build and wearing a gray polo shirt, blue jeans and brown boots.
