Troy police: Woman admits to embezzling $8K in jewelry - The Oakland Press

Neiman Marcus is pursuing criminal charges for embezzlement after an employee of the Troy store on W. Big Beaver allegedly admitted to stealing $8,085 worth of merchandise.

According to Troy police, several items of jewelry were missing from the store, prompting an investigation by a loss prevention officer. That investigation reportedly revealed that the employee, a 53-year-old Dearborn Heights woman, was responsible for the thefts. She allegedly confessed during an interview with the loss prevention officer.

The Oakland County Prosecutor’s Office will review the case.
