Cops name woman sought in jewelry theft - SILive.com

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- The NYPD named via social media a woman sought for questioning in the theft of jewelry on Staten Island.

Carol Ann Campagna, 54, allegedly removed jewelry from a home in the 122nd Precinct, then sold the property, according to a post on precinct's Twitter feed.

Campagna's last known address was on Van Delft Drive South in Amboy, N.J.

The woman, who is Hispanic, stands 5'5" tall and weighs about 145 pounds. She has blonde hair and brown eyes, according to police.

People with information are asked to call Detective Borough Staten Island at 718-876-8196 or NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-8477 (TIPS) or for Spanish, 1-888-577-4782 (PISTA). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577. All calls are strictly confidential.
