Nave museum hosts artisan jewelry sale - Victoria Advocate
This Valentine's Day, find that special someone a gift no other jewelry store will have.
The Artisan Jewelry Sale will be from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday at the Nave Museum.
"We've never done an artisan sale with jewelry before, so we are really excited about bringing it to the community," said Tina Wayne, a member of the fundraising committee for the Nave.
The sale is a fundraising event that will feature seven vendors who handcraft a variety of jewelry such as necklaces, earrings and bracelets. All the proceeds from the sale will go toward the Nave Museum.
"Each of these jewelry artisans have their own unique styles and created a line of work that is really beautiful," Wayne said.
The Nave will provide guests with free champagne and chocolate as they peruse the jewelry.
Wayne hopes to have a great turnout so the museum can keep bringing these artists and their creations back to Victoria.
"We encourage people to come out and see some really beautiful pieces of art created by very talented jewelry artists," Wayne said.
