CREVE COEUR • Four masked men armed with rifles fired shots during a robbery of a jewelry store here.
No employees or customers were hurt, but one of the robbers was apparently cut by glass from a broken jewelry case, police said.
Creve Coeur police tweeted about the robbery at Vincent's Jewelers at 11733 Olive Boulevard just after 3 p.m. Monday.
"All employees are safe at this time," the department wrote on its Twitter page.

Capt. Jon Romas said the four robbers fled in a dark pickup. A police statement described the truck as a four-door Dodge Ram, 2002 or newer, with silver lower panels, an open truck bed and custom wheels. At the time of the robbery, the truck was carrying two dog crates in its bed.
Police did not release descriptions of the robbers.
