“This longtime Dublin jewelry store owner took the jewelry and/or the proceeds from the sale of the jewelry from 36 victims with the estimated value of the jewelry being in excess of $300,000," said O'Brien.

The Franklin County Grand Jury has returned a RICO indictment against Charles Michael Hush, age 64, for one count of Engaging in a Pattern of Corrupt Activity (F-1), eight counts of Theft (F-4), seventeen counts of Theft (F-5), one count of Theft (M-1), four counts of Theft From a Person in a Protected Class (F-3), five counts of Theft From a Person in a Protected Class (F-4), and one count of Theft From a person in a Protected Class (F-5), for a total of thirty seven counts said O'Brien in a release.

Hush was the owner of the Jewelry Refinery located at 12 E. Bridge Street in Dublin. O'Brien said he allegedly withheld proceeds from jewelry sold on a consignment basis between October 2014 and May 2016.
