Kay, Zales and Jared to close more than 150 jewelry stores - Clarksville Now
CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The owner of Kay, Zales and Jared expects to close more than 150 jewelry stores.
Signet Jewelers, the parent of the jewelry brands made the announcement Wednesday in a release to investors.
Signet operates Kay and Zales locations in Governor’s Square Mall in Clarksville.
In Fiscal 2019, the company closed 262 stores and is still recovering from a weak holiday season.
In Fiscal 2020, the company expects to close more than 150 stores, “with limited new store openings primarily consisting of repositions to off-mall locations.”
It’s not known if the Clarksville stores are among those that will close.
