Zorells Jewelry in Bismarck prepares for expansion - KFYR-TV
BISMARCK, ND - Zorells Jewelry in Bismarck is undergoing an expansion project.
Tim Ell, the owner of Zorells says his shop is on its way to becoming the largest jewelry store in the state.
Zorells Jewelry began construction for the expansion in May of 2019. This project will more than triple the size of the store from about 2,300 square feet to 7,000 square feet.
Ell says after 14 years, they need more room. He says they chose to expand rather than relocate.
Materials are being shipped in from all over the country.
One of the biggest aspects of the project is a large vault being brought up from Miami.
The expansion will allow room for new designers as well as additions to the collections they already have.
Ell says he hired an award winning jewelry interior designer to create his new showroom. The store will showcase a new chandelier-covered wine bar. Ell hopes to make the customers' shopping experience an event in itself.
Zorells will be moving to a temporary location on September 1st in the Kirkwood mall during the renovation.
Ell's goal is to be done by October and ready to launch by the holiday season.
