POPUP: HOLIDAY SHOPPING EVENT

Museum stores are already wonderful resources for gifts. Add some featured local artists and you have the Tampa Museum of Art’s Holiday Shopping Event. Seven local vendors will have works on display including Joyce Curvin’s colorful papier-mache sculptures and fine art from Wendy Fetzer Mazza. Since jewelry is always a great gift, there are three makers to choose from: Eric Folsom, who works in brass, Lonni Hopkins’ sculptural, textured silver pieces and Cindi Samaha’s gemstone necklaces. The store is offering discounts, free gift wrapping and snacks from the Riverside Cafe. Free. 4-8 p.m. Thursday. 120 W Gasparilla Plaza. (813) 421-8386. tampamuseum.org.

HEY, SANTA: TAMPA BAY HOLIDAY MARKET

You can give Santa your wish list in person at the Tampa Bay Holiday Market at the Coliseum this weekend. He’ll be there checking who’s naughty or nice while you shop from vendors offering an abundance of potential gift items. Get in the spirit with holiday decor, shop handbags and jewelry and indulge in chocolates and candles. Get there early — the first 150 people in line each day get a ticket to win a new Smart TV. Free. 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. 535 Fourth Ave. N, St. Petersburg.

DUNEDIN: ARTS AND CRAFTS

It’s a lovely time of year to stroll around and take in the Dunedin Arts and Crafts Festival. The robust lineup includes jewelry, painting, photography and some surprises, like books and a pen vendor. Several makers are offering outdoor home decor, like Ashley Brown’s colorful mermaids made from car metal she salvages from crashes. Free. 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday-Sunday. 271 Main St. artfestival.com.
