AVON LAKE, Ohio
Burglary: Tradewinds Drive
A resident reported on Nov. 3 that someone had broke into their home over the weekend and stolen jewelry. The burglar had forced entry through the back door of the residence.
Burglary: Waterford Court
On Nov. 6 a woman reported that she arrived home from work and the glass to her back door had been shattered. She later discovered jewelry missing from her bedroom.
Burglary: Woodside Circle
A resident reported her wallet and and several items stolen from her purse on Nov. 7. She said the purse was in her car and that her son had left the garage door open. Security footage did not capture the area needed to identify suspects.
Fraud: Lake Road
A resident reported on Nov. 8 that he had mailed two packages of cash to Trumbull, Conn., in to bond his grandson out of jail; however, he later learned his grandson was with family in Michigan.
