Car crashes into Jax Beach jewelry store - WJXT Jacksonville
JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. - A car crashed into Espling Jewelers on Marsh Landing Parkway on Monday afternoon.
There were a few people in the store in a strip mall just of J. Turner Butler at the time, but none were hurt. According to the owner of the store, the driver did not appear to be hurt.
A woman said she was driving behind the car when it left the parking lot and hit the store.
"It just full speed -- bam -- slammed into that," Jenny Smith said. "I hope someone wasn’t hit in there. That’s why I stopped to just to see what happened.
Asked to estimate the damage to the store the crash caused, the owner said, "A lot." A neighboring liquor store also sustained minor damage from impact of the car.
