M&M-Branded Jewelry Recalled - JCK
Mars Retail Group is recalling about 52,400 pieces of M&M’s-branded jewelry for possibly containing high levels of lead, according to a news release from the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).
The recall covers all jewelry sold at M&M’s World Stores from May 2015 to July 2016, including earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and rings.
A CPSC release notes that lead is toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health issues. No injuries or incidents have been reported in connection with these products.
