Men wanted in armed jewelry store robbery in south Charlotte - WBTV
Two men are wanted in the armed robbery of a jewelry store in south Charlotte over the weekend.
Police say Pavels Jewelers on Woodlawn Road was robbed at gunpoint around 10:11 a.m. Saturday.
Employees at the business told police two armed men went inside the store and one of the robbers fired a shot. The men ran off after obtaining and undisclosed amount of property.
CMPD describes the first robber as black man between 6'2" and 6'5" with a medium build and a light complexion. He had a short twist-style haircut, a thin mustache and a goatee. He was last seen wearing a red zip-up jacket, a black and white striped polo, a straight brimmed hat and khaki pants.
The second robber is described as a white or Hispanic man who was last seen wearing a black skull cap and possibly a wig with long curly black hair. He was also wearing white sunglasses, a dark colored "Ft. Lauderdale" hoodie, jeans and tan boots, police say.
No one was injured in the robbery.
