NYPD: 4 Men Rob Brooklyn Jewelry Store Thanks to Construction Outfits - NY1
Police are looking for four men they say robbed a Brooklyn jewelry store Thursday while dressed as construction workers.
The four men stole $800,000 in jewelry, gold, and cash from the Court Street Jewelers shop around 5:20 p.m. in Downtown Brooklyn, according to police.
Investigators said three of the men entered the store, took out a gun, and beat a 67-year-old employee.
Police said the fourth man waited outside as a lookout, and even held up a sign that said "Danger asbestos: Men at work."
The victim was taken to the hospital with a cut on his head.
Police said the group fled towards the Borough Hall subway station.
