ACCESS, Inc. to host Jewelry Box fundraiser to benefit women, children Nov. 4 - cleveland.com
AKRON, Ohio -- ACCESS, Inc. will host its second annual The Jewelry Box fundraiser at the Fairlawn DoubleTree Saturday, Nov. 4, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
More than 20,000 pieces of donated costume jewelry will be on sale for $5 per piece.
All proceeds will benefit ACCESS, Inc. services that provide a safe, supportive environment for the homeless women and children in its care.
"We hope our Jewelry Box shoppers know that every time a piece of jewelry is worn from this event, it's not just a necklace or a bracelet," Lynn Budnick, executive director of ACCESS, Inc., said in a news release. "It's a symbol of gratitude, love and the commitment we all share to serve families in need in our community."
All donated jewelry will be professionally cleaned by Signet Jewelers. Fine and locally made jewelry will available and priced to sell.
The fundraiser is free and open to the public.
Guests can attend an after-party from 6-8 p.m. on Nov. 4, where jewelry will be sold for $1 a piece.
The "Desserts and Deals" after-party will include a DJ, coffee bar, specialty drinks and desserts. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at http://ift.tt/2yHaygF.
A V.I.P. party will be held prior to the fundraiser on Friday, Nov. 3. The event allows registered guests to enjoy wine, beer, hors d'oeuvres and live music while shopping for jewelry in advance.
The V.I.P. party will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tickets are $75 per person and can be purchased at http://ift.tt/2yDWMv8.
