JANESVILLE – Janesville police say a burglar took an undetermined amount of jewelry from Dubes Jewelry on Sunday night.
Officers responded to a report of an alarm at 11:25 p.m. Monday at Dubes Jewelry, 21 W. Milwaukee St., according to a press release from the police department.
Officers found the store’s glass doors smashed, according to the press release.
After checking the store, officers discovered the burglar had left prior to their arrival, and an undetermined amount of jewelry was taken, according to the release.
Evidence was collected from the scene and the investigation is ongoing.
