Man already behind bars sentenced for jewelry theft - Seattle Times
MERRIMACK, N.H. (AP) — A New Hampshire man will spend up to five years behind bars after pleading guilty to robbing an outlet jewelry store.
Twenty-seven-year-old Frederick Cote, of Manchester, pleaded guilty Friday in Merrimack to one count of theft. The Nashua Telegraph reports (http://bit.ly/2yD1kOY ) prosecutors said he took a $14,000 pair of earrings from a Kay Jewelers store in Merrimack.
Cote must also pay $12,999 in restitution alongside a two to five year sentence.
Cote is currently in prison in Massachusetts after being charged with armed robbery in Burlington. Police say Cote matched the description of a suspect in a string of robberies across Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
