Police: Jewelry salesman robbed at gunpoint in Trumbull - CT Post
TRUMBULL — Police are searching for two suspects who reportedly robbed a jewelry salesman at gunpoint.
Police said that a 59-year-old jewelry salesman was pulled over near the intersection of Penny Avenue and Intervale Road by what he believed was a police cruiser on Thursday, Nov. 30 around 4:40 p.m.
The victim was then approached by two males, one of whom threatened the victim with a gun not to move and removed a case containing a large quantity of assorted jewelry, police said. The suspects then made away with the wares, which were worth several thousand dollars, police said.
The suspects’ vehicle was described as a dark colored sedan with flashing lights in the vehicle’s front end.
