Man charged with stealing more than $60000 of jewelry from safe - WSBT-TV

A Hudson Lake man is accused of stealing more than $60,000 of jewelry from a 64-year-old woman’s safe.
Court documents say police were contacted after the LaPorte woman opened her safe and found her jewelry missing. Wedding bands, earrings, bracelets and other items were taken, according to court documents.
Police say 26-year-old Joshua Tawney was at the woman's home the day before.
Police arrested him after an anonymous tip lead to his whereabouts.
