Estate jewelry shop opens in Greensboro - Greensboro News & Record (blog)
GREENSBORO — Estate Jewelry and Loan, a new shop specializing in estate jewelry, gold, silver and coins, has opened at 2715 Pinedale Road.
The shop buys, sells and loans jewelry.
"We sell items that are previously loved, Tom Palmer said. "We go around the state and buy items from people that are letting go of them. We polish them and resale them."
Palmer, who has been in the jewelry and coin business for 12 years, opened the shop with Brian BaMore.
Estate jewelry is trending. Replacements Ltd., a longtime Greensboro company specializing in hard-to-find place settings, recently began offering estate jewelry.
"We have beautiful pieces," Palmer said.
The shop also offers loans on jewelry and sells items, including watches, on consignment.
The shop buys gold, silver and diamonds.
Jewelry and watch repair services are offered.
Hours for the shop are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
