Norman handmade market to offer jewelry, gifts and artwork - NewsOK.com

NORMAN — Locals will find accessories, art, jewelry, leather work and other handmade gifts during STASH’s Flower Power Market from 6 to 9:30 p.m. Friday in east downtown Norman.

The event is part of Norman's 2nd Friday Art Walk.

STASH’s Flower Power Market includes artists, food trucks, music and makers from across Oklahoma with special offerings in time for Valentine’s Day.

Local makers who will be featured for Friday's market include: Fusion Glass Designs; BRB Fine Art; Original Brooks; Chalet Wood Supply; Alloy & Ore; The Fancy Scroll; Shamra Henna; Emily Hamm Design; Wildflower Native; Vache Brothers; Bison Brew Coffee; and more.

Attendees also will be invited to participate in “Love Notes,” which encourages friends and families to write a valentine to a loved one, a childhood friend, a pet or even the Norman community.

“We had this wild idea to invite folks to write a valentine to Norman— to tell our city how you feel—what do you hope for and love about Norman?” asks STASH’s owner, Rebecca Bean. “The idea grew from there to incorporate any kind of valentine that someone might want to write. Maybe it’s to a long lost friend, or to your old dog.” STASH will have handmade valentines and supplies on hand. The valentines will be on display for a month.

STASH, 412 E Main St., specializes in American-made and ethically produced wares, gifts and art. For more information about Friday's event, call 405-701-1016.
