The 50-year-old disabled man called police on Dec. 14 when he noticed his jewelry was missing. He told officers he suspected Salas because she knew where he kept his valuables, according to Salas' arrest affidavit.

When investigators searched online pawn shop databases, they discovered Salas pawned seven pieces of jewelry just days before the man noticed his items were missing, police said.

The value of the jewelry amounted to nearly $3,000, according to the affidavit.
