JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office responded to a robbery at the 4600 block of Town Center Parkway.

The incident occurred at 7 p.m., according to JSO -- two hours before the store's closing time.

JSO stated in a tweet that three suspects with hammers are in custody.

The three suspects walked into the Jared jewelry store, broke glass counters, took jewelry and then ran out, according to JSO.

Police say they are searching for the driver of a silver Hyundai Elantra with a South Carolina tag that may have been involved in the incident.

The JSO robbery unit is still investigating.
