Athens jeweler wins best in show for ring design - Online Athens
Kim Spencer, custom jewelry designer at Spencer’s Jewelers in Athens, was recently awarded two top awards for her custom designed entry at the 80th annual Georgia Jewelers Association convention held in Stone Mountain.
Her custom made lady’s platinum diamond and blue sapphire vintage design ring was awarded the “2019 Best in Show” and the “Jewelers’ Choice” awards. These awards go to the top designer in the state of Georgia, as determined by the judges at the convention. The ring featured a 2.5 carat center diamond with blue sapphires and smaller accent diamonds.
This is the second year Kim has been recognized for her custom designed jewelry on the state level.
