$17000 in jewelry and cash stolen from Marion home while victim at church - KTTC

NEAR ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC)– About $17,000 worth of jewelry and cash was taken from a Marion home while a mother and daughter were at church.

A 60-year-old victim and her daughter found their home ransacked after 11 a.m. on Sunday when they returned. There was clothing thrown around the house and change scattered across the floor.

The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office said the robbery happened sometime between 9 and 11 a.m. on the 5400 Block of Timberidge Court SE.

$13,000 in jewelry and $4,000 in cash was stolen.

Deputies said someone most likely entered the house through an unlocked door.
