Crime: Man robbed of jewelry at nightclub - Greenville Daily Reflector

A 44-year-old man was robbed at gunpoint outside a nightclub early Saturday morning of nearly $11,000 worth of jewelry and cash.

Three men robbed the Enfield man about 2:45 a.m. on Saturday in the parking lot of The Body Shop nightclub at 4630 Whichard Road north of Greenville. The victim had been a customer of the club.

The men stole a gold chain necklace valued at $7,000, a ring valued at $1,500, a ring valued at $2,000 and $400 in cash, according to the Pitt County Sheriff’s Office.

The men left in two different vehicles. The sheriff’s office is investigating.

1700 block Circle Drive, midnight-9 a.m. Oct. 22: four checkbooks, purple tote bag with “Pirate Pride” stitched on it and Polar Bear soft shell cooler, all valued at $230, stolen from vehicle; no damages sustained; investigation ongoing.

3501 Galleria Drive, 2:20-2:51 p.m. Oct. 22: 25 items of clothing valued at $450 stolen from Kohl’s; case cleared by citation.

200 block North Eastern Street, 2-9 a.m. Oct. 22: 2003 Toyota Tacoma pickup truck valued at $8,000 stolen from residence; investigation ongoing.

3501 Galleria Drive, 7-8 p.m. Oct. 21: power bank mobile charger, two ID holders and seven items of infant clothing, all valued at $158, stolen from Kohl’s; case cleared by citation.
