Robber makes off with jewelry from Macy's in Riverside's Galleria at Tyler - Press-Enterprise
A robber used a weapon similar to a hammer to smash a glass display case at the Macy’s department store inside the Galleria at Tyler mall and steal jewelry Monday morning, Oct. 23, the Riverside Police Department said.
The robbery happened about 11 a.m. An unknown amount of jewelry was taken, Officer Ryan Railsback said. No one was reported injured.
The robber was described as a black man, about 30- to 40-years-old, wearing a blue shirt, dark-colored pants and a light-colored mask. He fled in a smaller black sedan, similar to a Dodge. He was last seen driving north on Tyler Street, according to police.
