A mother in Arkansas recruited her young son to steal thousands of dollars worth of jewelry from a store, police said.
The woman, who had a baby in her arms, was caught on surveillance video at Bella Jeweler's in Rogers directing her son to sneak behind the jewelry counter while the employees were in the back.
The woman then points out the different pieces she wants her son to snatch.
The mother, still carrying her baby, quickly exits the store with her son and another child. Police told KFTA-TV the woman's husband was also in the store.
Stephanie Martinez, director of Bella Jeweler's, said the child took at least $30,000 worth of diamonds.
"The woman kind of kept a look out while her youngest son went around to steal the jewelry," she said. "As she realized that nobody was there, and she got more confident, she started directing him to go back multiple times, and steal more and more jewelry."

(KFTA-TV)The surveillance video was released hoping it would help police capture the thieves. Bella Jeweler’s said they're offering a $1,000 reward for anyone with information that leads to an arrest.
"It's a real tragedy that they would use their kids to commit this crime," Martinez said. "For us, that's the most heartbreaking part."
Rogers police officer Keith Foster told KFTA that when the parents are caught they will be charged with contributing to delinquency of a minor. A court will have to determine what happens to the children.
"The juvenile system tries to figure out now what's gonna be in the best interest of the kids, how can we help them make sure this type of stuff doesn't happen again," Foster said.
