Second arrest made in jewelry store heist - WOWT

BELLEVUE, Neb. (WOWT) - Police have made a second arrest in connection with a robbery at Elder Jewelry where the two crooks made off with $20,000 worth of jewelry.

The robbery happened in occurred in June at the Bellevue shop, the two suspects, a man and a woman, who had come to the store the day prior, came in, brandishing a gun, and demanded the jewelry.

With the help of surveillance cameras, Bellevue Police were able to identify 31-year-old Jamele D. Nolden and 32-year-old Saphira D. Davis, and issue warrants for their arrest.

On July 26th Oklahoma Highway Patrol arrested Davis in Grant County. She will be extradited to Nebraska for charges of robbery and conspiracy to commit a felony.

Nolden was arrested on July 25th in Sumner County Kansas. He is facing extradition to Nebraska and facing charges of robbery, conspiracy to commit a felony, use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony, and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.

No trial date has been set for either suspect as the extradition process is still ongoing.
