Five suspects wanted in jewelry store burglary - Hanford Sentinel

LEMOORE — Lemoore Police officers are seeking information on a recent jewelry store burglary and are looking for at least five suspects, officials said.

Just before 3 a.m. on Aug. 27, Lemoore officers said they were dispatched to a jewelry store regarding an activation of the burglar alarm at the business, which was closed at the time.

Lemoore officers arrived on scene and found the back door of the business open. Officers checked inside and found it had been burglarized, but said no suspects were inside.

Officials said Lemoore detectives were called out to the business and began to process the scene. Detectives said they determined there were at least five suspects involved in the burglary.

According to police, the suspects gained entry into the building through the roof by cutting large holes with power tools. Officers said the suspects were able to work inside the store for several hours undetected by the alarm system.

The alarm was eventually activated by the suspects when they left the scene, police said.

The business suffered a large loss in jewelry and authorities said the business wishes to remain anonymous at this point.
