Home Health Aide Accused Of Stealing Jewelry From Patient - New Port Richey, FL Patch
HUDSON, FL — A home health aide has been arrested after being accused of stealing $2,840 worth of jewelry from a patient.
According to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office, Kelly Deann Stewart, 29, of Baywood Meadows Drive in New Port Richey, stole jewelry while caring for a patient in a home in Hudson.
The patient didn't realize the jewelry was missing until this week, and reported the theft to the sheriff's office.

The patient positively identified the jewelry as the stolen items.
When questioned, Stewart admitted to stealing the jewelry because she needed money.
